SLB Activation Tips:

  • The desert is super laid back—you won’t need those two pairs of heels.

  • Don't over-pack, you'll be living in your swimsuit/spa + workout gear during the day. The house is equipped with a washer and dryer.

  • There is no beach but there will be low-impact water workouts so the swimwear situation isn’t as complex. Monokini’s and one pieces are good options.

  • We will be hiking but sneakers work well if you don’t have hiking or trail shoes.

  • Wintertime in the desert is typically sunny and spring-like during the day with temps in the high 60s/low 70’s but as soon as the sun goes down it becomes quite cold. Pack for mid 30’s/40’s at night.

  • Expect dry and dusty…eye drops are usually needed.

  • Please bring your own personal first aid kit situation. We will be in close proximity to pharmacies but you may need something for pain, sore muscles (clear-colored tiger balm), cramps, allergies/sinus, PMS, upset stomach, ear plugs, band-aids, after sun balm, or any medications that you take on a regular basis. If you have ankle or knee issues, don't forget your brace!

  • If you’re sharing a room, earbuds or earplugs can be helpful if your roomie is awake late night scrolling or snoring.
